Los Angeles, CA — Museums are redesigning touring exhibitions around reusable structures, compact shipping plans, and locally produced components.

The model lets smaller institutions host ambitious work while reducing freight, insurance, and installation costs.

What changed

The work developed over several months and reflects a broader shift toward transparent processes, measurable outcomes, and clearer communication with the communities affected.

“The most useful systems are the ones people can understand, question, and improve together,” the project team said.

Additional milestones are expected later this year. This demonstration story can be fully replaced in Gutenberg while the theme preserves its publication-grade presentation.
